Moon Cheese – Pepper Jack
A dried out and wizened old log makes a great seat when you’ve been walking up steep terrain. The mountain top meadow where we found it seemed like the perfect place to relax before we finished our climb.
We were all looking forward to some Pepper Jack Moon Cheese. It wasn’t quite as spicy as we had hoped for, but it was still a great gluten free and low carb treat!

- Doesn’t make a greasy mess.
- Shelf stable.
- Takes up more room than traditional cheese.
Well, the “Jack” taste in Pepper Jack Moon Cheese is definitely there. And so is the “Pepper”, it’s just a bit subtler than most of us cared for. With that said, it is still a cheese taste that holds true to its refrigerated counterpart.
