Clif Bar – Chocolate Almond Fudge
Just starting my hike at Yale Reservoir, in Washington State with a picturesque view of Mt Saint Helens. It’s good to be back in the Great Northwest after living in the high desert the last year. Time for a snack.
Being a short hike, I only needed a Clif Bar. I found this particular flavor to be adequate for the purposes of recharging, but the taste left a little to be desired.

While I could see and taste the real bits of almonds, I could not detect much fudge.
I did find the taste for this to be a little on the bland side. Perhaps I’ve been rating a lot of energy bars lately and have gotten used to a sweeter flavor, although this does have 20g of sugar, which is a good amount for a snack this size.
